*Waterless car wash made by Lucky Earth. As an apartment dweller in LA, we typically don't have access to an area where we can whip out a hose and bucket and wash our own cars. Thus we must make our way to a pay car wash of some sort, generally a $10 min each time. Some people don't have the luxury of parking in a garage overnight, so you find a layer of dew on it the next morning. Dew + dirty LA air + blooming trees = a lot more car washes. Lucky Earth's waterless car wash (real name should be 'Hoseless') is made from water and coconut milk. Spray it on your car, wipe down with a microfiber towel and voila, a clean shiny car.
* iPhone. Finally. But how is this green? Every time I want to check email, facebook, weather, etc., I don't need to warm up my energy-draining PC. And, I spent more time this weekend playing on the phone rather than watching another energy guzzler - the TV.
* Mesh Produce bags (Purchased the materials last week, but made them this weekend). Instead of using those annoying plastic bags I can never open at the grocery store and then never reuse them, these mesh bags do the trick. Plus, they're are in bright summery colors!
