Time to vent.
So yeah, I'm chunky. I've been trying to lose some weight for quite awhile now without too much success. Since I'm a lady, I won't disclose my actual weight, but I've been hovering around the same 3-4 pound loss/gain for several weeks, if not months. I just can't get over the hump!
I've completely revamped my food intake over the last year: turned vegetarian, eat more fresh foods than processed, monitor my calorie intake, and drink lots of water. I feel better than I ever have, and I have the medical documents to prove it. But the pounds still aren't coming off.
Calorie Counter didn't get me too far, so I joined SparkPeople.com at the advice of others. It's a very informative site, complete with workout videos and recipes, but I'm still in a rut. I try to exercise about 30 min a day, hopping between cardio and strength routines, but it doesn't seem to be enough. Do I need to up it to an hour? Who has that kinda time? When will I do my crafts to brag about here?
Vent over. I feel better now.
