Summer reading list

Happy June!

As this summer is going to an extremely busy one, I'm not going to have too much time to sit down with a good novel. So, I'm going to take the opportunity to catch up on some of my graphic novel series I'm in the middle of. Fantastic stories, beautiful artwork, and a quick read:

Fables - Fairy tale characters are driven out of their homeland by some evil terror, and make a home for themselves in New York. Dark and graphic - a very different take on your childhood stories.

Ex Machina - A city worker finds himself one day with the power to talk to machines/electronics. A stunt as a superhero failed, although he did save one of the Twin Towers. So he decides he'd work to save the city the legal way - by becoming mayor. Little does he know, his past will come back to haunt him.

Walking Dead - As you may expect, this is a series about a zombie invasion. A cop wakes up in the hospital, after an accident during a shoot-out, and finds everyone dead. He finds a pack of survivors, including his wife and child. But however can they all survive the zombie onslaught? (Soon to be a TV series!)
