Thankfully, I've been successful with both this month. I've started volunteering with a local dog rescue to play with and walk the dogs during their weekend adoptions once a month. And also, this weekend, I'm participating in a crochet/knitting group through BigSunday.org to donate items to local hospitals and shelters.
As for my health, SparkPeople.com has really helped my focus on my activity. Only 5 more pounds to lose in the next 2 1/2 weeks to meet my short-term goal!
I've also made a dentist appointment as it's been quite awhile, and about to make a doctor's appointment to check out my cholesterol - hopefully all the exercising is helping that! Time to grow up and take care of myself. I'm not getting any younger - 31 is looming around the corner...
So, all in all, things are going well. But I must stay focused!!
