I came up with this idea last year, but I've finally decided to make them. And they were much easier than I anticipated.

![]() | With the help of a template from my friend, Martha, I cut out six pieces of soft, wooly fabric (use anything you'd like - felt, satin, cotton, fur, etc.) |
![]() | Using a 1/4" seam allowance, I stitched one piece to the side of another, right sides together. I did this five times and left the last set unstitched. |
![]() ![]() | Turn the ball right-side out. If you're using wool, fur, etc, use a needle to pull out any of the loose fabric that got caught in the seams. |
![]() | Stuff, and handstitch closed. |
I also got the crocheting bug, so I made myself a hat, scarf, and fingerless glove set! :

All set for the fight!
I love the snowballs and how easy they are to make.
ReplyDeleteI saw a bucket of these at a store for like $25! Yours are just as nice and much cheaper!
