My biggest steal - several sets of LED lights for about $4 per box! Awesome.
I looked around the clearance Christmas decor, but I couldn't find any small pine wreaths. My plan is to have small lit wreaths hanging in our living room windows, but other people must have grabbed them all up. So, I took matters into my own hands and decided to make my own. And with these clearance sales, supplies were dirt cheap!
|Grab some garland - make sure it's wired! Shape it to the size wreath you want and cut with wire cutters. (I wanted mine thicker so I doubled up).|
|As I doubled up, I twisted the rounds together to make sure they wouldn't separate. Twist the ends together to form the circle.Adorn with ribbon, picks, bows, etc and voila! A handmade wreath.|
So next year, I'll have pre-made wreaths ready to go right up in my windows! (And it's always a nice surprise to open my storage boxes and find a decoration I had totally forgotten about!)
