I first sewed 2 5" fabric squares wrong sides together and turned. With a length of yarn 2.5 times the border of the square, I blanket stitched around. This formed the loops to make the rest of the stitches on - which I used small pineapple stitches. I whipstitched the squares together and voila - a combo quilt-afghan.
With some fabric leftover, I made an eye mask with an elastic back. Fabric on both sides with a layer of batting in between. Not only batting, but I also sprinkled some dried lavender inside - so relaxing!
