Using mat board, scrapbook paper, glue, corks, and clock mechanics, I made a clock to put by our wine bar.
I found this pic on Pinterest and it was pretty obvious I had to do this.
I've started buying fresh herbs from the farmer's market and have made a little garden on the window ledge above my kitchen sink. I saved some cans, and using striped and cork papers, I made a pretty wrap for the cans. (I also nabbed some cotton swabs from my doctor's office - they made the perfect stakes for the corks!)
There are so many things to do with wine corks! I'm glad I don't drink it or I would save every single one of them!! :)
ReplyDeleteCork is such a warm, organic material to work with. These turned out nice!
