So this week, to celebrate the seasonal change of summer into fall, I made them a sunflower toy.
1. Cut out your felt pieces. I used the bottom of a can of beans for the center circles (cut two), and made petal shapes out of yellow and orange. | |
2. Arrange your petals the way you want on top of 1 brown circle, but turned inside. Sandwich the petals inside the two brown circles and pin. | |
Stitch 1/4" from the edge. Leave about 1/2" opening. Turn. | |
Fill with a few pinches of catnip and polyester stuffing. | |
Stitch closed. I also stitched around the entire center circle close to the edge. |
