I pinned wrong sides together. Using a zipper foot, I stitched very closely to the edge all the way around, adding an elastic cord loop to the side. And brava! - an adorable festive ornament.

Candy corn - 151 of 365
A super simple Halloween ornament for my candy corn-themed kitchen.

I found this template from Sweet Bee Buzzings, but shrank it to the size I wanted. I cut the stencil into its three sections, pinned it to the corresponding color felt, and cut out the pieces, adding 1/4" allowance at the top of the orange, top and bottom of yellow, and to the bottom of the white. I stitched together, and made another set for the back side.
