BUST. It's apparent to me that I can't follow loose patterns. I need hard measurements to go by, not just estimates. With this shirt, there were no guidelines for the neckline and shoulders, so of course I estimated poorly. The back of the neck is too low and the neck line is too wide. And, meanwhile, the knit fabric became obviously stretched out - not seen in the measurements, but the color. Maybe it was just a cheapo fabric.
One thing I AM proud of though was the waist. I think I finally have the hang of using the feeddogs to help gather the fabric.
A project that did turn out well was my candle holder. I used a sheet of cork, some scrap mat for framing, and used wine corks. All glue together with e600 - I love that stuff! And finished off with ribbon.
