Over a year ago I came across this pattern for a purse that I've been using every day since then. And such, it's taken a hell of a beating. Time for a new purse.

But I liked this pattern so much, I couldn't stray. So I just made another one.
Since I already had experience with the final product, I knew what I needed - more stability. So I used a heavier interfacing so the bag itself, as well and the inside and outside pockets, so it wouldn't be so floppy.
What I love most about this purse is the lining inside. Outside, it's all dark and conservative; Inside, it's bright and adorable with little squirrel fabric.
With the leftover fabric, I made myself a new electronics wrap - it holds by phone chargers and ear-buds perfectly. It's great for everyday use, but especially for traveling - keeps everything in place so I can easily find them on the plane.
Gorgeous purse!!! Lovely fabrics! Love the wrap too! I'd love for you to visit my blog.

I love your purse!!! I love when you can tweak the pattern (ie more interfacing) to make it a better product. I love the squirrel fabric and your electronic wrap too. I'm stopping by from Sew Can Do Linky party and your newest follower. Stop by my blog when you have a moment.
