Kitchen Kitsch

While working on my quilt in the bedroom, I needed something to work on in the living room at night. I decided it had been quite a long time since I had tried any latch hook projects. Since I was a kid, I think. So I gave it a try and made a mat for in front of our kitchen sink.

Remember the kitchen set I made? I still have some fabric leftover. Might make some more towels. But I saw this pattern on Pinterest and thought that would be a cute addition to our kitchen counter. And now my soap bottle won't get dirty...

This weekend I leave for another work trip - this time to Orlando. Gonna take an extra day and visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter again.
