Spiders and tees

Though I'm a huge fan of Christmas, September and October are probably my favorite months. But unfortunately, September has been and will be so busy that it's just flying on by. Plus, LA has had a heat wave lately, and it's been 90-100 degrees. Not feeling so much like fall. So it's time to take the season into my own hands.

First, before I left for a work trip to Chicago, I was able to put together this wreath. The start to my Halloween crafts! Orange and black, with mini spiders and webs. Now available in my Etsy store.

A few weeks ago I came across post from Mabey She Made It for a revamped tshirt. Picked up a $3 tee from the store, some elastic thread, and a new tee was born. I also ruched the sleeves a bit, and deepened the neck of the tee.

Finally, this past weekend, some friends and I made a daytrip to the boonies and did some apple picking. This week, I plan on canning up some jam and pie. Hopefully, the weather will cool down a bit so outside will feel just as fall-ish as inside!
