On Christmas Eve, I was able to whip up a few last minute Christmas decorations.
I had made crocheted Christmas tree ornaments for the family, and decided to make a few for ourselves. From this pattern from Pure Sugar. Just happened to have some green yarn left over from other projects, and some homespun fabric and hemp rope laying around.
Since the beginning of the year, I've been planning on making a tree out of corks. Just had to build up my cork supply. And No, we didn't drink ALL these bottles - people hand off corks to me, plus I stole a whole bunch from a community wine tasting event earlier this year.
And with my cork jar empty once again, I guess it's time to start drinking... for crafting purposes, of course...
Happy New Year!

Great use of your wine corks! love it!
